Dispatching

The Amtrak Centralized Electrification & Traffic Control Center (Amtrak CETC) at South Station controls all south side lines (lines out of South Station). Amtrak controls the NEC, in south station, and in the Southampton yard area, with Keolis controlling all other lines

The Commuter Rail Operations Control Center (CROCC) in Somerville Controls:

• All of the Newburyport/Rockport Line

• North Station to CPF-WJ on the Haverhill Line

• North Station to South Lowell on the Lowell Line

• North Station to CPF-WL on the Fitchburg Line

The other parts of these lines are controlled by Pan-Am Railways / CSX in North Billerica. Trains on these portions use the PAR Radio Channels.
